The Board of Directors provides a regular meeting place where business and education leaders discuss significant issues and consider how TBEC can help shape the future direction of public education in Texas.

The large and diverse membership on the Board helps develop a broad statewide consensus for change and many of its recommendations have become state education policy. The Board meets four times a year and is led by Business and Education Co-Chairs.
